Role & Responsibilities

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, you will be part of a dedicated marketing team. We are looking for a creative and hardworking individual to join our in-house team focusing on the content element of marketing. You will be responsible for creating SEO rich website copy, blog content, articles for print (and formatting in the Adobe suite) as well as general maintenance and upkeep of the company website and social media channels.

  • Creating SEO rich copy for our website and blog articles, in addition to email marketing content - understanding the different writing tones used for different channels
  • Design and distribution of marketing materials both digitally and printed
  • Regular updates and maintenance of our website
  • Managing our social media accounts (scheduling posts, analytics, strategy)
  • To assist with any ad hoc projects and campaigns within the department as and when required
  • Researching industry and marketing trends as well as a complete competitor analysis
  • Attending and participating in monthly sales and marketing meetings
  • Design work (using the adobe package) – creating materials for Google and social advertising.
  • Analyse our social media post activity and interaction (on Analytics and SM tracking). Report on impressions and conversions, which articles do better than others, if timings and days of the week make a difference to interaction and which bring the most traffic to the website. From this, create a SM strategy as a result of your findings to increase our SM interactions.
  • Assist with events, including the preparation, during and post event marketing.


Personal Qualities

You will need to need to be either a Marketing, media, comms or Englaish Graduate/ successfully completed a marketing focused apprenticeship or have an equivalent qualification or experience.

Experience in a B2B business environment within a marketing role is preferred.

  • Marketing/ media/ comms/ English Graduate/ marketing apprenticeship or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Experience in a B2B business environment in a marketing role (preferred)
  • An interest in writing
  • A strong understanding of the English language, including grammar
  • Experience in producing content within a business environment (website copy, literature, blog articles etc)
  • A good understanding of the use of social media in a business environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative with a positive and helpful attitude
  • Confident communicator
  • The ability to create and maintain a strong relationship with suppliers and partners
  • Strong research skills
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience using the Adobe package (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Excel knowledge
  • Presentation skills
  • Able to multi-task and achieve deadlines

This role is full time (37.5 hrs per week) and is based at our Head Office in Nottingham
