Giving back to our community is a big part of Solution's ethos, therefore every year we choose a charity to support. Voted for by our employees, in 2018 we supported Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) and The Little Princess Trust (LPT) - two charities that provide life-changing care and support to young people with cancer from the moment they are diagnosed.
In order to raise as much money as we could for TCT and LPT, we took part in monthly dress down days, raffles, bake sales and participated in The Great Notts Bike Ride (GNBR) for the 4th year, where 14 brave Solutions employees took on a range of distances including 25 miles, 75 miles and 100 miles. Due to these various activities we are proud to have raised a fantastic £3,139 which will be split between the two charities.
We hope that our dedication and contribution to these fantastic charities will allow volunteers and paid staff continue their work, helping young people face cancer within a comfortable and stress-free environment.

After an office vote and an overwhelming majority, we have chosen to support Mind throughout 2019. Mind's mission is to help and care for those with mental health issues such as anxiety or depression, providing advice and treatment to help speed up recovery. With over 70 years of service Mind understand the difficulty of dealing with a mental health problem, and therefore know how best to help.
Each year 1 in 4 people experience an issue with their mental health, yet only 25% of those people receive support. By raising money and awareness for Mind we can help play a small part in changing these statistics, providing more people with the advice and treatment they need to overcome their mental health problems. The information and support that Mind offers can be life-changing and with it being such a poignant topic at the moment, it is vital for us to raise as much money and awareness as possible this year.
Keep your eyes peeled for our progress throughout the year.
